I see you standin' over there
Lookin' my direction
I heard the talk around town
And it needs no correction
You got somethin' to share
I made that connection
You wanna break it all down
Well I got an objection
Yeah I am aware
And I don’t care
Now you’re walkin' my way
Lookin’ for interjection
Out the corner my eye
Yeah I made that detection
I’m not gonna lie
It’s a little bit disaffection
I know the choices I got
And I made my selection
Top-notch production and the inclusion of saxophones add so much to this wonderfully spacey record, with some resemblance to Joshua Tree-era U2, but much more shoegazey. You can also hear some beautiful male/female harmonic vocals interspersed throughout,m. Hard to pick just one favorite song, especially when everything flows together so well! Also, the instrumental tracks (Herons, Ducks) are particularly evocative. Overall an incredibly enjoyable listen on frequent rotation. Steven Freebairn

WALL's debut LP is also their last, as the band is no more - bittersweet. Experimental post-punk that works in light & shade. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 1, 2017
