I been walking in the alleyways and the back yards of this town
Keep my head down when I get around I just don’t make a sound
It’s been harder to get lost when you know your way around
But it’s better get lost when you don’t wanna be found
And I don’t wanna be found
So you won’t see me around
I won’t be hangin at the record store actin profound
You won’t see me around
I won’t be kickin out the jams with the punkers downtown
You won’t see me around
Might as well be pushing flowers in the ground
Cuz you won’t see me around
I been glowing like a ghost in the glow of my tv after dark
The only chasin’ is by Freddie and Jason and a big shark
No fear of missing out can spook me out enough to get me sniffing around
I know what happens during curious reactions to mysterious sounds
And some strangeness resounds
So you won’t see me around
I won’t be hangin at the record store actin profound
You won’t see me around
I won’t be kickin out the jams with the punkers downtown
You won’t see me around
Might as well be pushing flowers in the ground
Cuz you won’t see me around
It takes mind flexes and quick reflexes to slip through the cracks
And I’m smart enough to know I’m dumb enough to just get the ax
So you won’t see me around
I won’t be hangin at the record store actin profound
You won’t see me around
I won’t be kickin out the jams with the punkers downtown
You won’t see me around
Might as well be pushing flowers in the ground
Cuz you won’t see me around

Top-notch production and the inclusion of saxophones add so much to this wonderfully spacey record, with some resemblance to Joshua Tree-era U2, but much more shoegazey. You can also hear some beautiful male/female harmonic vocals interspersed throughout,m. Hard to pick just one favorite song, especially when everything flows together so well! Also, the instrumental tracks (Herons, Ducks) are particularly evocative. Overall an incredibly enjoyable listen on frequent rotation. Steven Freebairn
